Nikkia & Taylor | Wedding

Forsey Films had the honor of filming Nikkia and Taylor’s wedding at the Patten Chapel in Chattanooga.  They had us take their engagement photos earlier in the year – we love it when couples have us do their engagement session and follow it up with having us capture their wedding!

Nikkia and Taylor are both social workers and met as interns at the same placement for school. They were just friends for most of the year, until Taylor, who was being awarded Tennessee’s “Social Worker Student of the Year,” needed a date to the award dinner.  Taylor asked Nikkia to come to the dinner and that was their first date.  A year and a half later, Nikkia and Taylor went with friends to play a breakout game and thankfully they won!  Because as Nikkia opened the final safe, she found a beautiful ring inside and turned around to Taylor on one knee asking her to marry him.  She emphatically said “Yes!” and so began their forever together!

It was a gorgeous wedding day and it was a pleasure to capture the loving beauty of their wedding on camera.  Their reception was at the Urban Lawn event space and since it was a morning wedding, they appropriately had breakfast foods at the reception – including a cinnamon roll cake!
