Aubrey & Evan | Wedding
At the beautiful location of Cohutta Springs Youth Camp in North Georgia, Evan and Aubrey chose to get married at the very location they met summers ago. Aubrey’s father, Pastor Rob Lang, was the director of this summer camp and was also the pastor to marry the couple. As you can see in the video, it was emotional and meant a great deal to the father to officiate his daughter’s wedding.
Years ago, I got to know Aubrey and Evan while working at this same summer camp, Cohutta Springs Youth Camp. It’s here at the camp that I continued to build my passion for filmmaking by working as the videography instructor for some years. Evan also asked Aubrey to marry him on a romantic horseback ride at this location. While Cohutta Springs is a beautiful place in the Northern hills of Georgia, it often calls for rain. Luckily the rain held out long enough to capture moments of their wedding day at such a special place where they have grown so close.
The couple had a few surprises at the wedding, such as a dip on the first kiss and some very special musical performances. Aubrey’s brothers, Breck and Colton, stepped up to the microphone at the reception to sing the couple a humorous version of the song “Muskrat Love.” Towards the end of the reception, Evan and his brother, Jordan, got on stage with a song for Aubrey. It was quite the performance with Evan on the microphone and his own guitar solo! There was little that could hold Aubrey back from running onto the stage to give Evan a huge kiss after the performance.
Aubrey and Evan, your day made for a fantastic wedding that everyone enjoyed. We hope this video will help you relive and share that day forever!
With love,
